BASEBALL: Chaps bounce back to win series against EPCC

MIDLAND, TEXAS - The Midland College baseball didn't like the way Saturday's first game ended, so the Chaparrals came out with some fire in the second game against El Paso Community College.

The Chaparrals scored eight runs in the first inning to back up starter Daniel Bass on the mound and roll to an 11-2 victory at Christensen Stadium. The win helped the Chaps bounce back from a 7-5 loss in 12 innings to the Tejanos earlier in the day and it also secured a 3-1 Western Junior College Athletic Conference series win on the weekend ...

in a doubleheader Friday, May 5th, starting at 1 pm (MT) at Ray Birmingham Field, Hobbs NM

The Chaparrals will then host the Thunderbirds in a doubleheader Saturday, May 6th, starting 1 pm at Christensen Stadium.
