#12 MC Chaps Baseball to Host #17 McLennan CC in NJCAA Region 5 "Regionals"
The Chaparrals finished the regular season at 46-9 overall and 29-7 in conference. McLennan Community College ended the regular season at 40-16 and 23-9 in the NTJCAC standings.

The Midland College Chaparrals are scheduled to host the McLennan Community College Highlanders in the opening round series of the NJCAA Region 5 playoffs. The Chaparrals earned the right to host after finishing in second place in the WJCAC race (29-7). The Highlanders of the NTJCAC, finished in third place with a 23-9 conference record. Under the new format, the respective conference champions and conference runners-up each earned the right to host the best-of-three series.
The McLennan at Midland College series will be played at Christensen Stadium in Midland with one game per day. Each game is scheduled for nine-innings, with the first team to win two games, advancing to the NJCAA Region 5 Super Regional round.
