#25 Chaparrals Baseball Continues to Display their Outstanding Scoring Abilities with Wins Versus Luna CC, Seward
The Midland College Chaparrals baseball team outscored Luna CC by a total of 30 runs to four and outscored Seward County CC, 23 runs to 8.

The #25 ranked Midland College Chaparrals continued their offensive onslaught as they racked up total of 53 runs to a combined 12 runs for Luna CC and Seward County CC. Through nine games in 2026, the MC baseball team is averaging 15.5 runs per game. Leading the charge for Midland College is sophomore Stevyn Andrachick who is hitting .645 over nine games.
The Chaparrals improved to 9-0 after taking two games over Luna Community College in a Friday double-header. Midland College outscored the Rough Riders 30-4 (20-0, 10-4) to record wins #6 and #7. Then on Saturday, the Chaparrals took on Seward County Community College of Liberal, KS. MC won by scores of 6-4 and 17-4 to improve to 9-0 in 2026.
MC will next be in action on Wednesday, February 18th in a 1:00 p.m. game against Vernon College. The MC-VC game will be played at Larry Hays Field on the campus of Lubbock Christian University. The Chaps will enjoy a few days off from competition until they travel to Temple, TX and Weatherford, TX on February 27th and 28th.
