MC Chaparrals Basketball to Open the Season Versus Seminole State College in Edmond, OK
Due to adverse weather in Oklahoma the MC men's basketball season opening game versus Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College was canceled.

The Midland College Chaparrals will open the 2024-2025 season in Edmond, OK when they take on Seminole State College (OK) in a noon contest. The MC team features a ton of new faces, with only Trey Clarke and Jaden Kempson returning from last year's team.
MC was scheduled to play Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College on Monday, November 4th however a line of strong storms including tornados prevented the NOC team from safely traveling to Edmond from Miami, OK for the game.
Returning players Clarke and Kempson played a significant number of minutes for the Chaparrals in 2023-2024. Clarke led the Chaps in scoring at 16.0 points per game. Kempson averaged 9.2 ppg in 2023-2024. Midland College finished last season with a 20-10 overall record.

Midland College will host the 2024 Robert "Bob" Chapman Basketball Classic beginning on Thursday, November 7th at the Al G. Langford Chaparral Center on the Midland College campus.
