Chaparrals Face Strength N Motion In Tune Up for WJCAC Opener at Odessa College

@ 3:00 p.m. Strength N Motion Academy vs Midland College Chaparrals

The Midland College Chaps basketball team will play a "tune-up' game on Friday, January 3rd @ 3:00 p.m. versus Strength N Motion Academy at the Al G. Langford Chaparral Center.  Midland College emerged from the semester break with a 9-4 overall record which includes losing three of their last four games.  The Chaparrals plan to use Friday's game to work on game conditioning and to work in two recently eligible team members into the lineup.  MC will open the conference schedule of games on Monday, January 6th at Odessa College's Sports Center.  

Midland College previously took on Strength N Motion on November 7th during the Bob Chapman Classic.  Midland College won that game 112-68.  

MC has a short period of time to prepare for the conference opener at Odessa College.  OC is currently 10-3 overall and will be a formidable challenge for the Chaps in a road clash.  

The Chaparrals are led by Antoine Hurns who is posting 17.1 points and 6.5 rebounds per game.  The Chaps balanced scoring attack includes Trey Clarke's 16.3 ppg, Jaden Kempson at 15.6 points per contest and Robert Dix 10.3 ppg.
