#5 Midland College Looks to Bounce Back from First Conference Loss, Takes on Odessa College

The #5 Midland College Chaps will look to place Monday's nine-point loss to South Plains, in their rearview mirror as they host WJCAC rival Odessa College Thursday night at the Al G. Langford Chaparral Center. Thursday's game will be Midland College Homecoming with a slate of fun activities for students. Midland College 17-5 on the season, including 7-1 in conference, will take on the 16-6 Wranglers. OC is 5-3 in conference.
Versus the #10 SPC Texans, MC trailed for most of the game, but remained in striking distance throughout. Several Chaps contributed offensively including Robert Dix who scored 19 in the game. Trey Clarke, Antoine Hurns and Jaden Kempson chipped in with 18, 18 and 16 points respectively.
Thursday's game signals the start of the second half of conference play. Midland College defeated Odessa College on January 6th in Odessa, by a score of 71-63. Fans can expect a high-level of competitiveness and intensity as both teams put their records aside when they play.
