#7 Chaps to Take on #22 NMJC in an Important WJCAC Road Tilt

The #7 Midland College Chaps will look to return to the win column after last week's upset loss to the New Mexico Military Institute Broncos on Monday night at the Chaparral Center. The Chaps, then ranked #2 in the NJCAA polls and undefeated on the season, struggled with their energy level which contributed to an off shooting night in the 72-62 loss to the Broncos (28 points below their team scoring average).
MC, currently 18-1 on the season and 4-1 in the WJCAC, will face a strong NMJC T-Birds team who comes in at 15-3 this season, including a 2-2 conference record. The Thunderbirds are 13-0 at the Caster Event Center on the NMJC campus. The Chaps will enter a loud and inhospitable environment at the CAC. Poise, execution and a return to the Chaps' proficient scoring potential will help quiet the crowd.
