#2 Ranked Chaparrals Golf Opens Spring at Quatro Amigo 2.0 Tournament
2024 MC Chaps golf begins season ranked second nationally

The Midland College golf team joins the chase for the 2024 NJCAA National Championship when they open the season at the Quatro Amigo 2.0 Tournament in Kingsland, TX.
The Quatro Amigo 2.0, hosted by Blinn College, is the first tournament of the spring semester for the Chaparrals. The Quatro Amigo 2.0 event will be played at the Legends Golf Course and Villas (Par 72, 7158 yards).
Midland College, ranked second nationally according to the most recent NJCAA Men's Division I rankings, will look to contend for the national title against several formidable teams from the WJCAC and NJCAA Region 5.
Currently six NJCAA Region 5 teams are ranked in the nation's top 10 teams, including four from the Western Junior College Athletic Conference. WJCAC member Odessa College is currently ranked as the top team, followed by the Chaps in second, New Mexico Junior College is ranked 4th and Western Texas College comes in ranked 8th.
Midland College will be led by freshman Oscar Holm Bredkjaer, the second ranked individual in the NJCAA, and by sophomore Logan Zurn who is ranked 8th in the individual rankings.
The Chaparrals will seek to improve on 2023's third place finish at the National Tournament.
