#1 Midland College Golf to Participate in the NMJC Invitational in Hobbs

The #1 ranked Midland College golf team is scheduled to tee off in the 2024 New Mexico Junior College Invitational Tournament, February 26th and 27th at the Rockwind Community Links course in Hobbs.
Midland College has won one event thus far into the spring semester and posted a highly respectable 6th place finish in the Sam Houston State University Bearkat Invitational in Montgomery, TX (February 12-13, 2024). The SHSU Bearkat Invitation tournament field included 13 NCAA Divison I teams. The Chaps were the only two-year college team in the field.
The NMJC Invitational Tournament will feature some of the top teams in the NJCAA, on the Rockwind course. The Rockwind Community Links course is the site of the 2024 NJCAA Men's Division I National Tournament.
The Chaparrals are paced by a duo of talented players: Oscar Holm Bredkjaer, a freshman, and sophomore Logan Zurn. Holm-Bredkjaer and Zurn are currently ranked #3 and #5 in the nation according to the NJCAA Men's Division I individual rankings.

With qualifying taking place, the remaining members of the Midland College tournament team is undetermined at this point.
