Midland College Softball Improved to 8-0 with Double-Header Sweep of Trinidad State College
The MC softball team took two versus Trinidad State College on Friday. Weather forced the cancelation of Saturday's double-header against #20 Navarro College.

The Midland College softball team improved to 8-0 on the season after Friday's double-header sweep of visiting Trinidad State College of Colorado. The Lady Chaps were impressive in all phases of the game racking up 23 hits to Trinidad State's 7 in the 10-2, 7-0 wins. Pitchers Anays Perez and Marie Rondeau picked up the wins versus TSC. Perez recorded 10 strikeouts in Friday's first game.
Unfortunately, wet weather forced the cancelation of Saturday's scheduled double-header versus #20 ranked Navarro College. Overnight showers saturated the Lady Chaps Field, infield and in the process the field was deemed to be unplayable.
Midland College will travel to Weatherford College on Friday, February 20th for a double-header with the Coyotes. Friday's games are scheduled for a 1:00 p.m. first pitch.
