Lady Chaps Softball Sweeps Clarendon in WJCAC's Final Series, Moves on to the NJCAA Southwest District B Tournament

The Midland College softball team advanced to the post-season after finishing as the WJCAC runner-up this year. Midland College, 42-8 overall, now moves on to the NJCAA Southwest District B Tournament in Temple, TX.. The Southwest District post-season is divided into two post-season tournaments.
Southwest District A and District B. The District A Tournament in Odessa, TX is hosted by WJCAC champion Odessa College and will feature the OC Wranglers (W1), McLennan (N2), Western Texas (W3) and Weatherford College (N4).
Southwest District B includes NTJCAC champion Temple College (N1), in Temple, TX, along with Midland College (W2), Grayson College (N3) and Frank Phillips College (W4). Both tournaments are four-team, double-elimination events with the winners of each tournament advancing to the NJCAA Division I Softball Tournament in Oxford, AL May 25-30.
