Lady Chaps Travel to Odessa for Rivalry Game with Lady Wranglers

Despite a valiant comeback Monday night, the Lady Chaps basketball team suffered a tough loss at the hands of the South Plains College Lady Texans.  Midland College drops to 12-9 overall and 3-4 in the WJCAC after the 60-51 loss to SPC at the Chaparral Center.  

Midland College was led by Luisa Anderegg's 12 points and 4 rebounds followed by Savannah Goodson's 11 points in the paint.  Freshman Etoyah Montgomery scored 10 in the contest to round out MC's top individual scorers in the game.  

The Lady Chaps now set their sights on conference rival Odessa College and Thursday night's match up in Odessa.  Odessa College is an offensively prolific squad so the Lady Chaps must continue to play with focus and effort.  The Lady Chaps game at OC is set for a 5:45 p.m. opening tip.
