Lady Chaps Basketball Looking to Bounce Back on White Out Night

The MC Lady Chaps basketball team will seek to right the ship against Frank Phillips College on Monday, February 19th at the Al G. Langford Chaparral Center on Midland College Basketbal White Out Night.  The first 200 fans will receive a free Midland College White Out Night t-shirt upon admission to the game. 

Midland College will enter the game after six days off from competition with hopes of returning to the win column.  The Lady Chaps have not found their footing in the month of February, going 1-3 thus far.  Midland College defeated FPC in Borger a month earlier by a score of 77-66. 

Midland College and Frank Phillips College are scheduled to tip-off at 5:45 p.m. on Monday.  

Midland College's fortunes rest on the shoulders of sophomore Luisa Anderegg along with freshmen Brianna Vargas and Etoyah Montgomery.  Anderegg leads the Lady Chaps in scoring and rebounds at 12.6 ppg and 8.5 rpg in 2023-2024.  Vargas and Montgomery chip in 8.1 and 7.9 points per game respectively. 

Following Monday's game, the Lady Chaps will host nationally-ranked New Mexico Junior College at the Chap Center on Thursday, February 22nd @ 5:45 p.m.
