Reculard, Lubowicz Lead Volleyball to 5-Set Win at Western Texas College
Sophomore setter Martyna Lubowicz set the table for the Lady Chaps at Western Texas College recording 46 assists (along with 13 digs) in Wednesday night's win.

The Midland College volleyball team recorded a much-needed, hard-earned conference win versus Western Texas College on Wednesday night in Snyder. MC responded when they needed to, to defeat the Westerners in five sets, improving to 5-8 this season and 2-1 in the WJCAC.
The Lady Chaps received outstanding contributions by freshman rightside hitter, Noa Reculard (Grasse, France) who recorded 19 kills, four service aces and three digs. Sophomore setter Martyna Lubowicz (Opole, Poland) served as the catalyst for MC chipping in with 46 assists, 13 digs, five service aces and two kills in her best overall match of the season. Freshman outside hitter Iasmin Araujo was virtually unstoppable recording 18 kills, 23 digs and four aces.
Midland College is looking to put together back-to-back performances as they take on Frank Phillips College on Saturday, September 28th @ 2:00 p.m. at the Al G. Langford Chaparrals Center on the Midland College campus. FPC is currently 7-13 and 2-1 in conference with WJCAC wins over Clarendon College and Western Texas College.
