MC Volleyball Hosts OC Wranglers in WJCAC Tilt

The Midland College Lady Chaps volleyball team will look to put together a complete match when they host the Odessa College Wranglers on Wednesday night at the Al G. Langford Chaparral Center. Midland College is currently facing their toughest matches of the season after facing nationally ranked New Mexico Junior College and New Mexico Military Institute, each on the road. The match versus Odessa College will be the third match in succession against programs ranked among the NJCAA's top 20 teams.
Midland College is currently 5-11 overall and 2-4 in conference. The Lady Chaps have been beset by key injuries to sophomore setter Jordan Eager and freshman middle hitter Julia Klimowicz. Both Eager and Klimowicz have undergone recent medical procedures that will have them out of the lineup for an extended period of time.
Midland College will go as far as freshman Iasmin Araujo and sophomore Martyna Lubowicz will take them. Araujo leads the team in kills (127) while Lubowicz is the team leader in assists with 360.

Following Wednesday's match the Lady Chaps will travel to Clarendon and a match with Clarendon College on Saturday, October 12th @ 2:00 p.m.
