The Midland College Lady Chaps volleyball team find themselves trying to correct their recent struggles as they host Amarillo College on Wednesday at the Al G. Langford Chaparral Center. MC 5-13 overall, including a five-match losing streak, will look to put their recent issues behind them versus the Badgers. Midland College is 2-6 in the WJCAC as they enter the second half of conference.
The Lady Chaps lost to Amarillo College on September 21st in Amarillo (3-1) after taking the first set of the match. Including that match, MC is 1-6, over their last seven competitions. However, the Lady Chaps showed signs of what could be in taking #10 Odessa College to a five-setter a week ago.
Midland College will need strong performances from Iasmin Araujo, Noa Reculard and Kylee Radwanski who are the top three in kills for the Lady Chaps. Martina Frangella leads the team in total blocks (70) and service aces (27). Frangella is also fourth in kills with 92.
