Amarillo College Badgers vs Midland College Lady Chaps
Saturday, October 18, 2025 @ 2:00 p.m.
Midland, TX
The Lady Chaps have regrouped over the last two days after struggling in their match at #6 Odessa College (Wednesday night). Offensively the Lady Chaps did not display the type of abilities they have demonstrated over the WJCAC schedule. Defensively MC looked sluggish and didn't perform up to their standards. Saturday's match is an opportunity to correct those missteps when they host the Amarillo College Badgers at the Al G. Langford Chaparral Center in Midland.
Midland College enters the match with Amarillo College, at 12-9 this season and 4-5 in the WJCAC. The Badgers are 17-7, including 5-4 in conference, one match ahead of the Lady Chaps in the WJCAC standings. Amarillo also holds a potential head-to-head tiebreaker over Midland by virtue of their 3-2 win in Amarillo on September 24th.
Luisina Sandrone, Ipek Kusoglu, Jordan Eager, Mia Bell, Ksenija Sokic and Martina Frangella will need to be forceful and determined in the match in order to lead MC to a much-needed win. Saturday's match is the next to last home match of the season and it has serious implications for advancing to the postseason tournament.

Midland College's post-season aspirations will be tested in their upcoming matches as they face three consecutive road matches, two of which are against nationally ranked programs. Following Saturday's match with Amarillo College, MC will hit the road for a match versus the #16 Frank Phillips College Bulldogs at Borger on Wednesday, October 22nd @ 6:00 p.m.
Go Lady Chaps!
