Midland College's volleyball team needed to respond in a positive manner after Wednesday's disappointing performance at rival Odessa College. Respond they did and in the process exacted a measure of revenge against Saturday's opponent, Amarillo College. Midland College suffered a disappointing five-set loss to the Badgers a month ago, in Amarillo. Today, in the friendly confines of the Al G. Langford Chaparral Center, MC showed what they are capable of in a decisive 3-0 win over the Badgers (25-19, 25-28, 25-18). The win allows Midland College to keep their post-season hopes alive as they remain tied with the Badgers for the fourth and final spot in the WJCAC standings. The top four teams in the final conference standings advance to the Region 5 Volleyball tournament in November.
